Ok so here is the burning ???? for me, and everyone has there's but this is mine. there are 3 rigs that are a base for build or finish building, what would you take and why.
#1. 1993 EB350 10" lift on 35"s, built axels and geared, poptop, solar, front bumper with 10k winch, rear bumper with baja box, Vision-X 42" light, fridg, tolet, 100amp/2k inverter, 2ea 4agm batts. The van is super clean and really needs nothing but airbags in the back.
#2 2008 ford F350 8"lift on 38"s, custom front bumper, Warn 16.5k, fab four rear bumper, leer camper shell, truck is loaded out leather sun roof ect. Good start for build out.Truck make tremendous amount of power 470hp/998lbs and it gets better gas miliage than the van too.Would like to have a bedrack with RTT.
#3 1989 jeep comanche, custom long arm kit, on 35"s, 4.56 gears, built axels,4 to 1 transfer case, full armor and skids, 8k warn, custom front and rear bumpers, bed bobbed 11", Really nice ground up build fresh pant...ect. Possible bed mounted rack with RTT and contain all of the rest in the bed as well.
Well that is the short, down and dirty. All of those cars are mine, and I am debating on finishing out one of those 3. The Van is pretty much done, and my wife is very attatched to it, so she is more apt to put money it it. I really would like to buy a mog or a pinz, but I would like to here what you all would do here. My wife doesnt want me to spend the $$$$$ on another vic, but finish what I got instead. I think the F350 and Comanche are both, great starting pionts and are extreamly capible as they sit now....I figure $3500-4500 would finish off either of the 2. Or throm down another 20k just for another platform. I am in the Army and Currently Deployed in Afganistan, So I have 6 months left to figure this out. My wife gave me the go ahead last week to buy either (pinz/Mog) when we return, or finish off one of what we have. Well I will leave it at that.
I want to tell everyone one here thanks for posting pics and sharing your stories, this keeps me sane while I am over here.
Cheers
Eli
