They also mentioned they were going to have a huge headache figuring out which vehicle needs which style of wheel and tire....

I've got at least two extra sets...you think if I brought my own wheels I might get a discount

Good luck with the LHD Defender...though as mentioned earlier, RHD isn't that big a deal...it's fun to drive up the the bank window backwards

a pox on the salesman... I had a similar experience 12yrs ago.
If you have the choice go to Foley's & have a chat, no association with any company mentioned above.
