What Your Choice of Camera Says

people who uses multiple brands are indecisive, and sometimes ornery. They have a general distaste for colour and are apt to raise their own chickens. These people are naturally disposed toward careers in art or teaching and can be found in their spare time sitting in a rocking chair, smoking a pipe listening to old robert johnson records.

I am NOT ORNERY!

Elitist or hipster (which is inherently elitist of course).

I was thinking frugal which is the elitist and hipster version of cheap. :hehe:

I will be picking up a full frame dslr at some point in the near future but it will be fun shooting film and p&s for a while.

The more photos you shoot the less cheap film becomes, unless you develop it yourself. I like slide film but it's expensive to develop.

Oh I know that. Benefit of shooting film is I slow down and really concentrate on compositions and light far more than with digital.

Only play to process the film and have it scanned onto cd's so I can work them. I have darkroom gear but no time for that mess these days.

System switch..ouch! I feel for your wallet.

Thanks for the condolences. Hopefully there won't be any regrets going to a 'soul less' system.

Definitely tough to go from having 3 bodies, 2 flashes, several lenses, and a teleconverter to starting over. I have sold it all except for 1 body and 2 lenses.

LOL. On the up side, it's not as though you're a beginner so this time around you'll probably get only those items that you really need and want and nothing that you won't/don't.

I know I wish I could go back three years and tell my younger self what not to waste my money on. It certainly would have saved me more than a few dollars that's for sure.
