What's a 1996 e350 diesel ambo with 4x4 50k miles on it? I know it's worth what someone's willing to pay but pretty sure I'm about to ad it to my collection for 7k. Is this a good deal.

I don't know how much an ambulance is worth, but I can tell you that I have over $7,000 tied up into the drivetrain of the van I'm building. I'll have about $3000 into JUST the axles (dana 60 and 14-bolt), another $1000 for my tranny, $800 for my engine (tbi 350), $1700 worth of wheels/tires. That's almost $7k right there, so it doesn't sound like too bad of a deal to me, especially if it's what you want....

On the surface seems like a good deal... depend on conversion quality, rust, condition, etc

50k miles is really low for that old of an Ambo. Do you know the history behind it? Who owned and operated it?
