What is this little mystery light/push switch located below the cruise control switch? I can't find any references to it.

Looks like a aftermarket alarm / valet light to me...

Security system button + light. If you disconnect the battery, then reconnect it, that light will flash and the alarm horn (if not disconnected/removed) will sound. There's some incantation with holding down the button and turning the key in the ignition to stop the grade school band exhibition (I'm probably forgetting a step).

Car alarm installed at the Port by Mitsu USA. Not really “factory”, more like Quasi OEM. Prone to immobilize your rig at inconvenient times. There are threads on how to remove it
