There are other options beyond 18" OEM or the 17" steelies L8 sells. I have Touren 18" wheels on mine.

That photo was taken after my wife ran over a Ford Focus, totalling the Ford. The LR just needed a new bumper, grill and headlights.

Do not buy the 5 spoke wheels from a V6 LR3, they will not fit over the front calipers.

Without direct experience, it's best to not post at all or at least to qualify such statements with something like "I thought I read...."
