90% sure 17" is as small as you can go... and with that, I think you'll still want to check for clearances.

Tundras are 5x150 bolt pattern. Most 17" wheels will *not* fit. Need 18" to clear the brake calipers.

I have 18x9 with +25 offset (stock is +60), and 325/65r18 (35x13). No lift, lots of plastic manipulation... and a mild body mount chop that I probably could have avoided with an alignment that moved the wheel forward. Never rubs.

I don’t have a lift and don’t want one. I’d like to stick with the stock offset...what’s the biggest tire I can get on it without rubbing. I have 285/55 20’s on there now and it will rib a little on a tight...actually, it’s quit rubbing since the tread is worn down.

That's only 32.3" (stock dia is ~32") ... and it rubs? What wheels? Were and when does it rub?

It might be hard to find rims with stock offset that aren't stock. All the aftermarket ones I've seen stick out more (which is less offset).

You probably wouldn't rub with 275/70r18 (33.2") on stock rims. Any bigger and you'd need to deal with plastic. If you are ok with that but want to avoid a body mount chop you could fit 285/75r18s... which are 34.8". 295/70r18 are 34.3".

Seems my information is old on 17" rims. There are more options that fit a Tundra than I thought! The Rock Warrior rims (which were stock several years ago) would be great if you can find them and are +50 offset (vs normal +60).

285/70r17 tires are only 32.7" diameter, so it makes sense they wouldn't rub. 295/70r17 would probably be fine too.

EDIT: My memory might be coming back to me... I think the issue with 17s is that most of them need to stick out too far (for me) in order to clear the caliper. The Rock Warriors and Icon Six Speeds (+25 offset) will work.

Clearance will be tight. No room for balance weights in the normal spot.
