hello, first, very good, informative forum. thanks to all that have answered questions for others that have helped me also. now. i am making a trailer out of an aluminum boat trailer. i have a torsion axle that came on it with a 5x4.75 bolt circle. wheels on it now are 14x6. need to move up to 15". i know that most chevy rims are that bolt circle but does anyone know which ones i can use or point me in the right direction.may need to know model of car/truck they came on to search salvage yards for some. prefer 15x6 or 15x7 with a 2 or 3" backspace. i probably will mount 30-9.5-15 tires or close to it. im thinking caprice or something like that?

remove hub....take to salvage yard...........try fit...

or for around $ 25 a side get new hubs to suit the wheels on the truck

For 5 on 4.75 bolt patterns you would be looking for any s10, blazer, bravada, jimmy, Sonoma, firebird, camaro, corvette, they carry the same bolt pattern through all model years.

thanks, i thought that was a small chevy pattern, as for matching truck, classic range rover. so no luck there w/o spending$$. part of the reason for the build is to see just how economical i can make it. so far i have 200 in it, rails, axle (3500# torsion), hitch. started life as a wrecked 30' boat trailer, all aluminum, have cut down to 12' length and approx.same track as truck (60")
