Which RTT for Family of 2.5

First off.. I have searched and searched and read and read, I am a member of a dozen forums of all different topics and understand how to use the search function, however I have a real life and cannot spend anymore time on searching! :bike_rider:

I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty KK with a three inch lift and roughly 30 inch tires. My wife and I have decided we want an RTT for all the reasons one would choose an RTT. We are planning an eight day trip from Mesa, AZ to Jackson, WY this summer and would like to use an RTT for the whole trip. Here are our requirements:

1. Mount on our Liberty KK
2. Be comfortable for 2 adults and an a 9 year old
3. Have a privacy area for a shower (although this may not need to be integrated into the RTT)
4. Wife says have 3 in. mattress

I know these requirements are really not that exotic, however I just can't seem to figure out which RTT to order. I like to check things out when I buy, especially when I am spending a grand or more, but last I checked there is no RTT store near by :}

Perhaps it would be a good idea to rent an RTT. This company rents and will put 50% of the rental cost towards the purchase of a new tent. They carry Autohome and ARB. I'm a fan of the Autohome tents simply because I like quick set-up and take down. In any case, I'd go with a porta-privy for shower/toilet use. It sets up as easy or easier than an RTT skirt, can be left at camp... and/or positioned further from the communal area, if needed =)

+1 on the porta privy being separate, even if you do buy a tent skirt as well.

Spend $50-100 on a memory foam mattress topper from target, sams, costco, etc. if the existing mattress fails the wife test.

Get the biggest tent autohome says will fit, as you will need it--9 YO's count as more than an adult when it comes to bed/tent space.

I might choose natural rubber or latex over memory foam if the temps dip true memory gets hard
