Who has the best set up for a bed?

I have been using a blow up Kelty queen size mattress with a foam topper and find I need something better.

For one moisture gets trapped between the foam topper and air mattress. And air mattresses move when you move- making for less than ideal sleep.

Been eyeing those trifold gym type mats but haven't found one that is good enough to sleep on.

My goal is something comfortable to sleep on yet able to fold up and put out of the way.

What all are other people using?

I just bought Grandpa the Probassshop fast set up flip and fold extra wide and extra long cot. I must say its a pretty nice set up heavy! but Nice. Not sure if cot is an option but check out the cot bed systems you may get some ideas.
I'm currently experimenting with our queen sized bed in our trailer. REI extra wide 2inch thick self inflating air mats under the stock pad with a Costco memory foam topper. So far I think its going to work the trick was the air mats on the bottom they give just enough pad under the hip bones to make side sleeping work.

Is outside
4 inch foam folding mattress that folds into a couch. Not attached to anything though, slides around to where we want it. Turns into a full/queen size bed.

Comfortable.

I'm using a second hand $25 futon mattress currently.
We bought it as an experiment and now have used it for 50-60 nights with few complaints. I do sleep with a thermarest foam pad on top of the futon mattress.

Bought two twin foam mattresses from ikea, $89 each with covers. These were actually cheaper than the foam supplier near me. I trimmed them to fit the space and used the covers for awhile. Now my mother in law is making a cover for us so I will rip one mattress down the middle and place it on either side of the whole mattress. This way we can access side hatches easily and it will fold up on itself. I am going to have her make three actual covers but with a flap that snaps or zips them together so they can stay as one unit or three.

I have the same mattress and LOVE it. Thought the cover was a joke till I got a patch of mold on it - bleached it, washed it and let it dry in the sun and it is still in good condition. The other thing that was a bonus was that it came rolled in a small roll and I could get it into my TCer before opening and it opened perfectly where I needed it. You do need to leave it for 24 hours before using as it need to expand.

I bought a 2 inch thick gel memory foam topper 30$ at Wally World (queen size) and sewed a cover for it out quick dry nylon with a zipper at one end and built in strap's with fastex buckles to roll it up.
Traverse van has a queen size bed already but this made it plush especially after my cracked ribs and rotator cuff injury(mtb face plant)

Am I the only one that REALLY enjoys their sleep? I'm going to get a full size memory foam mattress. It helps that I used to work at a mattress/furniture store and can get a good deal. But I haven't had a comfortable bed since I moved away from florida, so it's high on my priority list. Anyone have a legit bed in their rig?

If you're not too worried about space or weight you could use a regular mattress. My daughter is growing up and graduated from a twin size bed to a queen. I just use her old mattress in my truck. (could work in a van) My wife gets scared off road so any trip I want to go on, I'm on my own. I am retired/disabled from the U.S. Army, getting older, and have joint problems, but sleeping on a real mattress is a great deal easier on my back, shoulders and hips.
