Who is going to be the one to try the JW copies?

Just noticed on ebay, there are now imitatiaon JW headlights and fog lights. Who is going to be the one?

For the right price I'll give them a shot.

I have friends who run knock off LED light bars and you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between them and the name brand stuff.

they are approx. 150 a set. they are on ebay, just search Jeep JK. I would think the same, bill would be all over them to try, they make the fogs too.

All of the ads i saw were $150 per light, so $300 for the set, plus shipping.

Here's a quick review.

Took about 10 days to arrive at my door (not bad actually) and they were packaged in a decent sized box and foam with cutouts to keep the lights from moving and getting damaged (this is usually something Chinese knockoffs lack).
It came with the lights and an adapter harness, but no instructions, labels, or anything else (pretty standard for knockoffs).

The first thing I noticed was that these look really nice, really a professional looking product, but they are identical with no indication that one is for the right or left.
The second thing is that the low beams use only the two side LEDs where the JWspeaker lights use the sides plus the top projector.
The high beams are pretty good, all 4 sources light up where the JWS turn off the top projector and turn on the bottom.

I had a sick child last night, so I forgot to take a lot of pictures, so I will get some tonight.

You have a XJ just like me... I got the Truck-Lite version after seeing it at Sema and they make a huge difference. They are now reasonably priced at $175 a piece. I have the truck lites too. I love them, way better than stock, and better than any other LED light I have seen personally. The the poster with the Chinese copies, Your attachments are not working.

These first two are stock (note: my driveway slopes up towards the garage)

These two are the low beams. they put out decent white light, but they do not reach far (most likely because the top projector isn't lit like the JWS).

My opinion: spend the extra $100 or so and get the Truck-Lites, though I'm not totally impressed by the ones my friend has.
The JWSpeaker evolution 2 headlights are easily the best out there, but at nearly 5 times the price of these knock offs and 3 times the cost of Truck-Lites they're tough to justify.

Knock-offs suffer from a multitude of potential failure points and I'd never advocate their use for safety lighting.

No need to install the anti fliker harnest? On my 2015 the anti fliker was needed for my hid install ( the relay was chatting... The anti flicker is a capacitor ...)
