I assume that you're talking to me - I actually just put this in a couple of weeks ago due to weather(even though its weather-proof) and haven't had anything to manage yet. I do have an trip planned to take place in a few weeks and it'll be the first time putting it to use.
Really everything small, including food and clothes/personal items will be in storage bins on top of the platform, while ill keep all my hardware including firewood, grill and drinking water etc. underneath. I'm hoping i have enough stuff to fill the space where everything rides nicely. But other than that I really haven't came up with anything to secure the under shelf storage, its definitely something that i need to look in to.

The clear storage boxes make things easy to manage, and water resistant, they can also be had for a pretty good price.
