Sat next to this guy yesterday coming across the border from Baja into CA at the San Ysidro crossing.......Beautiful rig! Note the steering wheel on the right....

That's been around baja for a number of years and there was a thread on it - all custom work - very nicely done. I think it is using full size chevy/ford axles and perhaps the frame as well... it was a while ago - can't remember the guy's name... pretty sure he is based out of Southern California.

Ah yes Ive seen this guy on the freeways in SD once or twice. Prob coming back from baja.

When I asked the owner they said it was based on a Land Cruiser.
