Just got back from vacation in Florida. Man it was dumping snow on Vail pass on the way to the airport then warm and sunny 85 degrees when I got off the plane.

Thanks for all the responses and wisdom. Now I feel comfortable taking the bar off to see how it does. And will investigate further on disconnect options. But winter is right around the corner so I'll put the bar back on for the snowy weavy roads up here.
