Mattresses are consumable items to me and they can be replaced easily so let that sway your decisions for a RTT. They all pretty crappy from the factory, hard density with little to no "resiliency". Just head over to your local foam and fabric supply shop and try out various foams for your exact body type and health issues.

Yeah that's pretty accurate. Both the 23Zero and Autohome/Grand Tour 360 were great and comfortable actually. Adding a topper isn't the end of the world, just hope it's a solid starting point out the box!
My GF hates the off gassing from memory foam and any or all foam products so she ordered one inch thick latex topper for my RTT. I like it on top of the 3" foam I bought from a local outfit. It's a tad too thick with all the bedding now but she just launches herself on top of the RTT during closings!!!
