Wildernest as a trailer lid, demension?

Hey all.
I really like the design of the old 1/4 ton trailers but would only want one if I could accomodate sleeping. Has anyone looked into putting a Wildernest (old style) on top of a trailer? If the demensions are similar, it seems like a slam dunk for two people. Thoughts?
Thanks.

I suspect that even with a mini-truck sized 'Nest that you'd have some fairing-in to do at the point where the 'Nest meets the trailer. Would be cool to see. I hope it can be made to work!

Why use a Wildernest topper. Make your own with the M416 as the basis. Add a cover to it, then hinge it off the rails. Then fab some poles that would rotate to a stand up position between each other without the fabric. Then add the fabric to cover it all. Or you could attach the fabric to the poles and keep the stand-up tension that way.

There are quite a few motorcycle campers which are just a simple box with a flip over cover to be as the bed. Poles expand and hold the canvas to form a tent. Here is one off Ebay right now. They start off as this

and end up like this

Though, I can't remember the overall exterior size of the M416, but would it be long enough to formulate a bed area front to back?
