Flower season is just getting started in these parts. We get a few varieties that are slightly different from what you boys down south get. I snapped all of these over the last couple of weeks.

Nice snag Joash! I was out about a week ago looking for rare Ram's-Head orchids and came up empty. I think they may have bloomed early this year. I went back to the same spot I saw them last year and found nothing, I was kinda bummed but what can ya do. Anyway nice catch with orchids, I know a few varieties are quite rare and not often seen.

Thanks for the comment Trevor- for me that's like a nod from the Guru himself.
Those were like the last of the lot in W. Michigan too, and I found them at a county park in Holland, MI. Most of our wildflowers blooms are gone by the end of May.
