Monthly drawings continue!

Monday, 21 January 2008

We're giving away more great off-road gear - have you gotten your tickets yet?! 'Cause you can't win if you don't play . . . The 2007-2008 Adventure Raffle - featuring the grand prize Adventure Trailer and Eezi-Awn Tent - is going strong, thanks to supporters on Expedition Portal.

This exciting raffle is on its downhill run: 2 more months to go.

Although we had a break during the holidays, we're now resuming our monthly adventure gear giveaway.

The winner of January's monthly raffle prize is Cal Hoagland of Monte Sereno, California - Cal has won two sets of Quick Fists and a Pegasus captive hood-pin set ($50 value) donated by Roemer Off-Road of Vancouver, WA. Many thanks to Britt at Roemer Off-Road and to Cal for their support of our fundraising efforts. (Hint: Cal generously donated for the maximum number of tickets per person . . . his strategy is paying off . . .)

More news . . .

Webcast of drawing planned! We want as many people as possible to take part in the exciting drawing for the grand prize Adventure Trailer and Eezi-Awn tent . . . so we're going to arrange a webcast of the actual drawing - no need for you to wait and wonder, you can be there when the drawing is announced! Stay tuned for details of time and web address. (Generously sponsored by Overland Journal and DesertDude Films)

Desert Dude Films joins Adventure Trailers (Upland, California), Equipt Expedition Outfitters (Salt Lake City, Utah), Overland Journal, and Utah 4-Wheel Drive Club.

The grand prize is a new Chaser Trailer topped off with an Eezi-Awn folding rooftop tent - the ultimate setup for your family's own adventure safaris right here at home.

This exciting raffle is worth over $8,000 . . .

Don't miss out! Click here to order more tickets today - win more stuff during our monthly drawings, and help us raise money, too.

Conservation safaris departure dates still open

happy-safari2.jpg
African Conservation Fund has several departure dates for our exclusive conservation safaris in East Africa for 2008 . . . join us on an Adventure Conservation Safari (you get to drive a safari-equipped Toyota from Maasai Mara to Amboseli - ONE space just became available!), a Discovery Conservation Safari (educational journeys hosted by renowned ecologists and community partners), or a special Custom Conservation safari.

You can become an active partner in our innovative, exciting conservation programs - and get an up-close and personal look at the wildlife and people that make Africa such an exciting place to visit. Folks have asked us about the unrest in Kenya . . . we did decide to postpone our first trip until July, at which time we're confident things will be settled back to normal.

Don't miss out - we have limited space for these unique conservation safaris. Read more...

Sure, if you incorporate as a 501c3 and get a board of directors to maintain, a mission to follow, and forget about having a life with time to think about spending time on a forum chatting about fun stuff . . . :ylsmoke:

Actually, I read his comment to be more like "...if I win, I'll donate the trailer to ACF so you can use it to raise funds [via another raffle]". Maybe I mis-read his post?
