No, you can't use a stock window because the sheetmetal is formed specifically for the oem frameless window. You would have to cut out the sheetmetal window frame and graft it into the cargo van. Much easier to use aftermarket windows.
Would they work with a cargo van and cutting a hole for them? I really just need one window behind the driver so the passenger can see out.
It seems like if I bought this: "T-Vent "All Glass Look" Window Driver Side Center 1992+ Ford Vans", that I could just glue the window to the side of the van with the glue they use on windshields?
You definitely need to video when you do this!
Do you have inside material already? You might be able to match where the window would be cut from the inside so as not to cut through too many pillars (if at all).
Just to be updated, I was going to get a 7.3L (with windows)van from a friend, but he backed out. Now I am working out a deal on a 7.3L work van with another guy.
Why do I want a 7.3? Because they are great motors. And I want a diesel.
So hopefully, very soon I will have news about a van.
