Windows Mobile coming soon

Let's discuss the new Windows Mobile, and the hardware that runs this promising new OS, here.

Windows Mobile is primarily designed for phones. Microsoft says tablets with screens smaller than 8 inches should also use Windows Mobile, although this is a recommendation rather than a requirement. We should learn more from Microsoft on October 6.

Distinct from Windows 10, Mobile runs Universal applications only. So you won't be able to run that XT accounting package from 1995 on your phone.

I had it loaded on my 1020 as part of the developer program. I have to say, once it's optimized, its going to be great. Also, with universal apps within the next year most every app available on both the android and IOS devices will be available on windows devices.

I am converting to w10 for both my surfaces and my 2 Nokia 1020s as soon as the update comes out. The 950 phones are going to rock as well.
