Windscreen Replacement with a Snorkel...

So i had the best day of luck and received a nice blow to my windscreen today. Seagulls apparently like yellow Land Rovers. My question is if it is possible to remove the windscreen without taking the snorkel completely off? I know the pillar trim has to come off, so I have to drill the rivets out. but can they get the trim out from under the snorkel? I wouldn't mind taking it off if I hadn't just sickaflex'd it tighter than Virgin Mary. Thanks for the input guys!:coffee:

I don't know about your model, or the model of your snorkel, but on the LR3 with a Safari snorkel it you could change the windshield without removing it. You can probably get enough room for the trim by removing or loosening the bolts.

That's what I was thinking. I just didn't know if anyone had the issue before. I figure I'll take that side pillar trim off myself and leave them less room for error.

ive had a screen on a d1 without removing it, just took the rivets out the top bit on safari snorkel, and gave the chap a hand to lift the screen in
