Wiring the CTEK D250S

Pardon my ignorance but if you are running a 200 amp alternator charging the battery should you really only have a 50 amp fuse?

The fuse recommendations I posted came directly from CTEK installation PDF from their website. Just following the directions, which are apparently flawed.

Lol well on 3 different calls I received 3 different answers on various things. I'm going the safe route.
