I didn't read but I am sure the MPG, engine, rough ride were all reasons. The wrangler is still more of a dedicated off road vehicle. The solid axles make the right a little more harsh than the IFS and the mpg is obvious. Would love a larger engine but the 3.8 does ok with proper gearing.

Yeah cause when I think of a magazine with their thumb on the pulse of the auto industry, I think of..... forbes magazine? So I should get all my financial advice from Car and Driver?

I agree completely with that result. In fact if anyone with a 4 door Rubicon wants to get rid of it immediately, I'll help by hauling it away for you. You don't want that piece of crap sitting in your driveway.

This is damn funny!

If one's idea of a fine commuter is a BMW 3 series, then one would have to dislike a JK.

If one looks at a long and empty freeway and feels a tug, well, that's different than looking at a long and empty two track and feeling the tug...
