Would I post here to try and organize a relay?

I am thinking of buying a trailer in Virginia and live in Idaho, I could make it to northern Colorado area to pick it up, but would need kind souls to relay it that far for us. Gauging interest/willingess. I have heard of these things but don't know how to start the process. So here goes.

Maybe begin to see if any 4x4 clubs are in that area and see if they have a forum similar to this and start networking. Honestly, and I am sure you know this, but it seems like a long shot. Not to be Mr. Downer  but it might be easier to hire a carrier and have it shipped.

just my .02 :D

Well I'm not trying to make it easier I'm trying to make it less expensive. :D Any way if anyone is on the I64- I70 route line I would really appreciate a few hours of your time. Thanks in advance.

Too bad you didn't buy this sooner and were a regular on PBB. They relayed a car trailer from Delaware I think it was out to Colorado. It could have rode on the car trailer.

what is PBB, i am very new to all this.
Pirate Bulletin Board. It is a place to tread very lightly as a new poster. They are not very friendly to the mistakes that most new folks make. Personally it is a place that I avoid at all costs. I consider it to be very much the anti of this forum.

I'm further west than you, so I'm of no help with the relay.

Ok well so far the owner will take it to Lexington VA. I have a member of a jeep site I frequent on the border of Indiana and Illinois that showed willingness, don't know how far he would go yet, but he's about 500 miles from Lexington on I70. Thanks so far!

I'll be headed out to Pinehurst NC in a few weeks and then back home to North Central Texas if that will help. I'm located north of Fort Worth about 25 miles.
My plans are to take my 16" trailer behind my Diesel Dodge with some car parts on it, to drop off in the Atlanta area. I'll be coming home almost empty. And I have my 16 " trailer set up so I can pull another behind it if I need to. Done it several times before.
So, there ya go. We'll be headed that way during the Wifes spring break at School (She's a teacher) around the 16th of next month and the following week.

How big is this trailer your looking at.

I may have a friend headed to Moab shortly after I return. I'll see what his plans are, if you'd like.

I'm over at the PBB too, and the Hauling Forum is a great place to hook up rides for parts and stuff.
