Would this Chevy Silverado 3500 be a good purchase?

I've been looking for a Ford F250 with the 6.2L V8 for a few months now to carry a slide in cabover camper for full-time living, but just today went and looked at this 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 with the 6.0 V8, 130k miles and 4x4. I am considering buying it instead. I do live in the rust belt but it doesn't have much visual rust at all. A flatbed opens up more camper options (don't have the camper yet) and this seller is asking $16,500 whereas most of the F250's I've been looking at are asking $22,000 for similar years with 10-20k more miles.

Questions:
  1. I drove it and it seemed to run well, but it used to be a company fleet vehicle. So it has probably been driven hard. Is this reason to avoid it?
  2. Is the Chevy 6.0 V8 reliable? As much as the Ford 6.2 V8 everyone raves about? What about the transmission? Any problems I should be aware of? All my months of research have been about the Fords.
  3. Is $16,500 actually a fair price for it? Would I be getting ripped off due to COVID/chip shortage price jacking?

The 6.0 is a damn good motor. You can beat on it daily and it will shrug it off.

Much like the 6.2, it needs to rev to make power and it can be thirsty. Buuut parts are cheap and plentiful.

Should have a gm something L80, so I would not worry about the trans. Drop the pan, change the filter clean pan and refill. Good solid simple power train

My 2011 2500 has been reliable. I had to do exhaust manifold bolts due to an exhaust leak, and an o2 sensor. It keeps throwing a code for a bad cat which I don’t plan on doing anything about.

Ive owned it from 90k and now at 170k.
