Hi all,
just a few words to introduce me,
I'm Michele and I live in Italy.
Rover?Defender 90 (300)Tdi,1997 MY (a.k.a. the Cube II).

Some of the guys here sound well known (hello),I'm a long time registered user of the main LR BBs around, the D90 Source,P44 and a few others...

LR enthusiast,I'm a cartoonist but I'm actually working in the 4x4 accessories field...(ehu)
Other than the pen/pencil and the sketchbook I like playing with the camera,an "old" Nikon 801 (got a small digicam for quick shots, good for attachments!)
LR trips/expeditions are somewhat limited to the back yard (€$€€€$$$),
nothing exotic like the Sahara but always fun.
Pics in the link under my sig for those who want to have a look.

The Cube is actually stuck in a box waiting for some bits to be galvanized as they were supposed to be...
:D

Oh,and the last toy is orange...

Welcome! Very nice D90, and it looks like you and it have gotten out from time to time. You have some excellent pictures on your site; thanks for sharing.

Great cartoonist too! (I'm sure Pendy is your biggest fan though...)

Nice D90!

I've always like D90's. Once a week I drive past DAP in Springfield, VT to visit my folks and I always have to at least glance over to their lot to see what they have for sale or what customer rigs are being worked on. They definitely hold their value. In a few years I'd like to get either a D90 or a nice FJ40 set up. Considering the going rate on the D90 (DAP has one now listed for 35k) I'll probably go with a FJ... cheaper and it wouldnt hurt so bad (emotionally) if I put a dent in it.

Well,
it's not my fault!
I never really thought of a nickname (although I liked the idea),
but the first '94 Defender was nicknamed "the cube car" by a girl I knew,
and I never liked it to be honest...then the 90 was stolen (insert bad words here),I found my current one (a twin, same Alpin white),and the name stuck and became simply "the Cube".
(II)

Here's the story behind.

I'm used to it now and I'm planning Cube T-shirts collection as well!
Como,Milan,London,Longmont,Moab...
