Best photos yet of the JL. Looks like the windshield will fold down, like previous Jeep models.

I agree about the photos, but it looks like the windshield will fold down unlike previous JK models. I think the JL looks pretty good.

The changes look pretty positive - but the specs might still have some deal breakers once they are released. I like the revised windshield (flatter) and that they moved the rear wiper motor. The new drivetrain options sound good too.

Also, any change the diesel will have the option of a manual?

I am really, really hoping so.
The RAM 1500 and the GC with the 3.0 Eco Diesel do not.
So they currently don't have a vehicle with a stick behind that engine.
At 405 ft. lbs. of torque it will have to be a strong one.. Something like the Getrag 238 would do it. (used behind Hemis).

When I asked a couple of the Engineers a few years ago at Overland Expo, they confirmed 100% there will be a stick JL, though of course maybe it will only be on some engines and not others.

I thought it was already confirmed from the leaks the JT diesel will not have a manual option.
