BTW, if the deal goes as planned, "ExPo Pony Express" may be available from Tucson, Phoenix, and possibly Prescott and Flagstaff, back up to Portland / Columbia River Gorge this week (11-17 to 11-21), by way of either AZ-UT-ID-OR or AZ-CA-OR (not yet decided). I look forward to seeing your new Taco around Hood River. I have been thinking of that same vintage of 4 door (or possibly land cruiser), but I would have to let go of the Green VW double cab to swing it. I am not sure I can do it.

As I get older, having some of that Toyota reliability is more and more intriguing.

A deal was made earlier today on a well-equipped DC Tacoma just outside of Phoenix. I've logged a little over 100 miles so far (drove down south of Tucson today), and I'm quite pleased. I'll post a couple of pictures early next week in a new thread under the Tacoma section of the Expedition Vehicles forum.
