Might do that on Monday. it looks like it might be or might be close to a standard PC power cord....going to try that also. Thx!

It's a standard IEC cord. You can get them anywhere. Or rob one from an appliance you seldom use.

Go to a computer store and get a pc ac cord. Its the same thing.
