I have a need to a non- airbag steering column for a Montero. Both the upper and lower section are desired.
Before I bought my Pajero project someone hired a shop to get the play out of the steering which in this case are worn splines in the lower column section.
Some marvel of a mechanic felt that 100 # of torque on the steering wheel nut might do the trick, it did not and there are no longer any threads that would be useful to retain the SW. Mr Ugg did no one any favors.
Shipping would be to Vermont.
