Looking to see if anyone has a supercab short bed F250 with 4x4. Looking at gas motors, 5.4l preferable. Really trying to find one with a manual trans, but an auto would be considered as well. Probably looking at first gen trucks (99-07) for what I'm wanting to pay. Base trucks are fine. I realize its quite specific, which is why I'm throwing this out there in addition to my regular search. Have cash. Thanks!

Good luck with your search. They do exist but man they are rare. I can't imagine a most rare configuration than a Super cab short box + gas + manual. Like maybe 1 out of every 1000 was built like that, if that. Definitely need to be prepared to drive or fly a distance to grab one if you see it. Regulars cabs are hard to come by these days too. FYI I bought a manual F350 2006 and it was fun for a bit but gets real old. Driving a car with a manual is fun as hell but the F350 shifts so much worse and is just a pain. Also parts for them are pretty hard to come by.
I have found one or two out there so far, but they certainly seem to be rare. I'm a pretty die hard manual guy, but I am considering the auto for a lot of those reasons. I did have the thought that parts might be more difficult for the manual trans. That would be a big downside for my use, I think. Thanks for the thoughts.
