WTB: Kamparoo (or similar) trailer in Southeast USA

Motivated, 'cash ready' buyer, looking for the right trailer within 1000 miles of Huntsville Ala. Not really interested in traveling longer distances to buy a used trailer.

The Kamparoo "Trans Continental" optioned trailer would be ideal, but other factory / home built trailers would suit my needs:

A light weight (< 1000 lb) trailer, no greater than 5 ft. over all width. Trailer must be tough enough for washboard roads and Jeep trails, 9 inch minimum ground clearance.

The tent must be of the 'trailer tent' or 'clam shell' type with attached vestibule, with quick set up by one person.

So, if you're thinking about parting with a trailer that fits this description, I'd be very happy to take a look at your earliest conenience.

Thanks Daisy, I plan to do that very soon, if a used one in the local area does not turn up.

I remember seeing you make inquiries on the EP for a used one for a while. Did Glenn help you to find one in the States, or did you have to import one from Canada?

Glen found one for me in Wyoming. '04 Transcontinental (5'7" wide, which is what I wanted but could have done without the Transcontinental upgrade) It suited me so I ended up paying an additional $1050 to transport it to FL. I haven't seen or heard of any others available since then. Glad I did it. If you end up buying one without being able to look at it I advise that you find a "neutral" party to open it up, look at it, and take pics of it/send them to you prior to you paying all the money. I had some problems that the owner (who hadn't seen it in 9 months) was unaware of and we still haven't ironed them out. The roof leaked, mildew inside, mattress ruined, etc. But I've got my Kamparoo!! And Glen was WONDERFUL throughout the whole transaction. Give him a call. Hope you find one soon.
