WTB: Mitsubishi Montero SR

Going to look at a nicer '97 just south of town today, guy isnt sure if its SR or LS.

SR will have the wheel flares. LS won't. Easy way to tell the difference in photos.

I've owned several of this body style and my favorite was a 95 SR. Would be driving one now if the mpg didn't suck so bad for my 110 mi daily r/t. :(

so i am on the same qwest as you. spent a bit of time on the web last night. i am reluctant to pass this on, as i kinda want it, but i cant pull the trigger til late february.

i know its 2-3 days away, but its in good shape and built well. imho. i chatted over text with him today, he seems intelligent, and nice. he is firm on the price, so i wouldnt bash him on it. willing to let a local look at it if you can find one to do so. if it is still there, it will be coming home with me.


also, this one didnt have a specific city, but its decent price could be lower though.

Thanks for the heads up Joe. That one is MontyPower's rig on 4x4wire. I've been bugging him about it, but not really willing to pay 3500 for it. Not to mention the one way air fare and gas to get back.
 
Oh and I think I am going to limit my search to Texas. Texas likes to RAPE you when it comes to importing a car from outside of the Republic.
