I have owned 2 Extreme Outback setups...the High Output and the Magnum.
If you want to run tools then either of these will work but put in the largest tank you can fit. Tools really suck up the volume.
Of course the Magnum is better and not really a big price increase.

Now if you have the space to install the AC pump continuous one they sell that is the top notch option. Puts out crazy CFM and will make running tools & such a breeze.

George or Tamra are both great people at Extreme Outback and happy to help you get everything you need. The kits where easy to install even for me and had all the little bits that make life easy. Their air hose & fittings held up to crazy abuse on my part by the way.

The engine mounted system is great, However the price with mount is out side the budget.

Look into a York compressor. The compressor themselves can be had for cheap. I've bought 3 over the years and each was from an auto recycler and I never paid more than $50. Two were actually $25 each from a Volvo yard. The Volvo ones came with a mounting bracket that I used to fit the compressor in my old chevy truck. I added a conversion pulley from Kilby Offroad and was in business.

For my 4Runner I bought a kit. I recently checked and the company I bought my kit from doesn't have any in stock. Google York OBA and you'll find a lot of home brew mountings. On my old truck I ran the compressor with about 12 gallons worth of tank and it was all I needed for 100% duty cycle. Impacts, blowing off and airing up was no problem. My current setup only has a 0.5 gallon tank so I pull the throttle cable a little to up the output. I don't have a need for an impact but I get enough air. I can air up about 2.5 vehicles in the time it takes my buddies to use their setups.

Here is a link to my current set up.

I've got an oasis HP1000 compressor I could sell you. I was going to put it in my JK, but space is a little tight. This compressor makes the extreme outback magnum look like a sissy :). I bought it about 6 months ago and haven't used it. The previous owner bought it 2 1/2 years before me and never used it. He bought it from a buddy of his that used it in a bagged lowrider truck. The previous owner told me this one was rebuilt by Oasis and upgraded to their current specifications to run 60 hours before needing an oil change.

This would be perfect for your truck. This is not 100% duty cycle, but it will put out enough CFM to run a 1/2" impact gun with out a tank. I can email more info if you pm me your email address.
Will sell for $475 shipped to you.

Look at this comparison test where the oasis is as fast as the C02 tanks and faster than an engine (belt) driven kilby system: http://www.offroadair.net/4WD-0502-Air-82-85.pdf

Here it is running:

If you are going with electric rather than york, I HIGHLY suggest the Puma. I do not want to upset any vendors, but if you do some research on it, you will know why I suggest it.

Here is a great article about a test they did with several compressors http://www.expeditionportal.com/res...627-overland-journal-air-compressor-test.html I'm actually working on a setup that uses 2 medium size airbag compressors wired together with separate fuses and their outputs will be linked to one hose, then I have a 5 gallon tank that I may install if there is room.

One above poster offered the Oasis to you, I would jump on it in a heartbeat if you have the money, one sold on ebay a week or two ago for just over $700 and you can run air tools straight off the compressor. A guy in our group had one a few years back that we used to air up and my 33x12.50's went from 12psi to 32psi in about 40-50 seconds for each tire.
