Hi all,

Hope you are doing well during this strange and difficult time.

My wife and I are in the market for a FWC Hawk for a 6.5" bed. We are thinking of ordering new, but the turnaround time is about 6-months 31 weeks, and we'd like to hit the open road sooner, rather than later.

We are open to all options, colors, and floorplans, but would like to be 2010 or newer if possible.

Let me know if you have any ideas, offers, or questions.

Steve

6mos wait? I thought FWC was out 12-14mos?
What side of the country are you on?
Have you already searched CL using searchtempest.com?

Yeah and I've created Google alerts and eBay alerts as well. East side

Hoping the dealer isn't pulling my chain (Main Line Overland)

Main Line Overland told me 31 weeks.
But with Covid uncertainty over the coming winter it could end up increasing.

Yep! You are right.

I called back and they are estimating a Late Feb-Mid March delivery of a Hawk.

(for the curious: 31 weeks from today puts us at Fri, March 5th 2021)

I was in the same state of affairs, almost ordered from Main Line , New Hampshire location and was waiting to sell my Class B but one appeared on this site ,East Coast, Boston location, more stuff than I would have ordered. Turned out it was 6.5 miles from my house and I knew the guy.

So be vigilant and they are out there.

I'm getting impatient and starting to look at new Palomino SS 550s and 1251s. They are half the cost of a brand new FWC Hawk, with more storage and creature comforts for MrsMuzzy... plus the FWC build time is around 40 weeks now, so I wouldn't be able to enjoy it until Spring 2021...

Decisions, decisions.

Hey Steve, I'm going to be selling my hawk in the near future. I have a write up but no official listing yet but I'll share the info here:

Selling my 2016 Four Wheel Campers (FWC) Hawk. Currently in Bozeman, MT, but I am moving and could arrange for delivery for the right buyer w/ appropriate deposit.

I bought this in March, put a ton of work into it, and lived in it for about 6 months as a remote-working nomad. I have enjoyed my travels immensely but now it is my time to pass her on to someone else who can give her the miles she needs (rather than sitting in my garage).

This is perfect for anyone working remote or anyone who has a lot of power/electricity needs. I PROMISE you will not be able to kill this battery even if you try. I have gone 3 days in the shade w/ no solar, cooking on induction or the traeger every day, and only got it to ~40% capacity.

My favorite things about my camper is the storage options I have put in, the fridge, the great electronics system(s), and the side dinette option from the factory. It really makes this a great camper and I had 0 difficulty living in it full time for ~6 months.

Factory Options:
Side Dinette

Yakima Jet Stream Roof Rack
Fan-Tastic Vent Fan

Awesome! Love the interior and floorplan. The Mrs and I are big fans of the side dinette.

What would you be willing to sell the Hawk for?
