There are moose in the Adirondacks near the Speculator area. Not always a good chance of seeing them though.
We've been through the Pittsburg area up to the Canadian border but have found more between Errol, NH and Rangeley ME. If you are through Errol, stop in @ L.L. Cote and see the grey moose they have in the lobby.
I am there all the time for work and frequent the Rangley area as well. With out a doubt the best area for Moose in NE. I have seen so many moose it almost taken the novlety away from it. But I still stop to enjoy them.
