x-panda-cab

I emailed with Ike back and forth this last winter about the X-Panda ideas floating around. He said if I could get there to Oregon he'd work with me on one but it'd be a prototype. I'd love to but I'm not sure my 72 Series III will make it since it breaks down any time we go further than 50 miles in New Mexico. Slowly but surely we're fixing it up but...you know how it goes. Still the X-panda is on my bucket list. Has anyone got any further with it?

Hey - I came across this thread. I know it has been dormant for awhile, but I have been thinking about doing the same thing. Has anyone managed to reverse engineer this?

Well I made this - not exactly the same but does the same job I guess:

The standard over here seems to be Alu-Cab products. Either soft or hard sided.

Lots of other manufacturers, and lots of used 110s with the tops already installed.

Not saying you should search them and get ideas....
