probably the same one, just off of 40 outside of Berthoud. I was way up above the tree line where yes there was still snow on the road in July. The snow was talking up about 3/4 of the road. I thought I could squeeze by and the edge of the road gave way and I slid off. I tried for about 10 minutes to drive out, but I was teetering at a very steep angle and decided to get out (aka fall out) before it was too late. I was looking straight down the mountain. I tried to winch for about 10 minutes but couldn't find anything solid to anchor to (here is an ad for pulpal). Last try there was a little slack in the winch and it just went (I turned and couldn't watch).

Condolences on your Wrangler. Looks like it was a nice one! How is your Rover going now?
