XD Monster 18in wheels for LR4

Hi All,

It seems that LR4 owners may be getting a third option for switching to 18in wheels (besides LR3+spacers wheels and compomotive wheels) as I have been talking with wheelpros and they claim that their XD Monster 18in wheels with 35mm offset (5x120 bolt pattern) do fit LR4. Has anybody been able to independently verify this? I don't think like being a guinea pig on this....

Thanks for any leads.

Best,

Michal

Hey Michal

As I've mentioned to you on the other forum, I've been looking at these same wheels, as well as a couple other options offered by Wheel Pros and they claim that they will fit but I do have an email stating that they have never sold a set in 18 for a LR4.
As I didn't want to waste money (no refund available) I went the LR3 route.

I'll be pretty envious if they do fit the LR4 ;)

I also hope that they don't fit as I just bought LR3 18in wheels :) I just don't have the confidence in them that they actually fit....

No pics - only available on their website www.wheelpros.com

Ok. Not my taste, but good to have options I guess. I don't see those as looking as natural on a trail or in the rough stuff.

You mean these right?

Leave the XD's for body lifted full size pickups. They pair well with a set of truck nuts

Man, are those some of the ugliest wheels I've ever seen.

But those compomotives are beautiful.

Agree, these things are cheesy and will not look good on a Rover. Also, be careful buying cheaper aftermarket wheels with different offsets, etc. because a lot of them will not balance properly on a four wheel independent suspension vehicle.
