I think the apollo plus the stock airbox would cause too much restriction.

I like the way the ARB hugs the fender and rides along that upper body line. They also use a lot better mount at the windshield frame.

I don't dislike the Airflow enough to not get it. Ugh. I hate decisions.

Ugh. I hate decisions.

That's when you sit and wait for a good deal on one of them to fall in your lap. Either that will happen or you will get impatient enough and just pick one.

Works for me most of the time

For me, its the melted adaptation to the fender lines as well as the front edge of the snorkel.

the front of the arb is a gentle, flatter shape, where as the airflow is quite a bit more angular and abrupt.

The airflow reminds me more that its a modification rather than something that might be installed in the factory. Kinda more like a pvc tube type of look.

I honestly may still go with the arb because I prefer the shape, but I thought safari snorkels are the bee's knee's for a long time, so its a bit un-scientific nostalgia in my case.

Also, to consider...is the airflow cali smog legal? That may decide FOR me. I don't want to not pass cuz of my snorkel.

I tend to go through smog with the snorkel installed, but the stock airbox that doesn't have any for the snorkel stuff on there and its zip tied into place.

If I get pulled over and the pop the hood and fine me, fine.. I'll deal. until then I'd rather have my Jeep safe from screwups offroad then worry about the smog police
