So like the title says I'm really confused, I like them all. I like you can take the top of the JK, the v8 of the wj/wk, and the well not really what I like about the xj, lol. Now here's the kicker I currently have an 08 JK 4dr X, but it's a 6spd and the wife can't/won't drive/learn to drive it. So here's my thinking. If I do trade it on something I want to trade it for something that will be about the same pay off as what I currently have now. So here's a few thoughts, and your input would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Primary use- daily driver, forest roads, mild trailers, family transport, reliable, dependable, trail riding/camping, and reliable
All get pretty close MPG, 4 doors, cargo room
XJ, WJ, WK- expensive to run 35s, would 32s/33s be sufficient?
XJ- cheapest
WJ, WK- v8, kinda pricey
JK- already have it, doors/top comes off, 45K miles, downside wife can't drive it, easy to fit 35s
If I was to get something new what should I look for in that model, like milage, I see lots of XJs and WJ/WKs but most at 120K and up, to me that seems like alot of miles, but I'm new to these models
I've looked through most of the jeep pictures thread all 200+ pages, and see many many different directions I'd like to go, just to many decisions.
Thanks in advance, your thoughts are appreciated.
