XPCamper Updates

I am really interested to learn more about the V2W (Wide) for full sized trucks. Can you please post some drawings or diagrams? Will the 6 inches of extra width be used for larger storage compartments or will there be a modified floor layout due to the larger area?

I especially would like a fixed cassette toilet like the one in the the V1. Is that possible as an option?

How about a larger (wider) water tank?

Photos please!

BTW - I had written off ever being able to buy an XP Camper due to the cost, and I haven't paid any attention to the V2 until I heard from Marc in a recent email that there would be a version for the full sized trucks. I hope I can get one of these and eventually trade it in for a V1, using the same ute tray on my Gen 3 Ram 3500.

Hi John;
Sorry, but I don't know anything about the V2W model. I would suggest that you contact Marc directly by e-mail, as he does not generally monitor this thread.
Cool, thanks anyway. I have emailed Marc but I thought I would try you also, since you have access to some secrets.... ;)

Nice! That would work well on the back of a Fuso. How long is it overall and what are the footprint dimensions?

Wish I was on my way to expo this year to see this.

Funny I posted the same thing on the EEXP thread. I agree. At a reasonable price this would be amazing on a Fuso.

The Exploring Elements Cube XPCamper Shell is 110" long, 80" wide and 57" tall (the roof pops up an additional 20" with soft sides) and weighs approx. 540 pounds. Marc says a basic shell of this size would cost "in the mid twenties". Because of the flat panel construction the shell size can be easily adjusted to suit the customers requirements.
XPC is also working on a larger all hard side flat panel cube pop up camper shell for a Unimog. Marc thinks this model would be more appropriate for a FUSO. Here is the Unimog in the XPC parking lot:

That would certainly work on my SWB FG with a little bit of tweaking of dimensions. My flatbed is 108" x 81" and optimum would be about 18" overhang off the back of the bed (my Hallmark Ute is about a foot longer than optimum). It's good to hear that you can adjust dimensions. Keep us informed as this evolves.

Thanks,

Can't wait to see the final EEXP pics. Been trolling his Instagram to see the updates. Looking very nice.

Looks Awesome!
Sorry if I missed it were you guys able to pull off the pass thru?
Again great looking set up

They haven't yet but it's coming. They finished literally two days ago and drove straight through to OX14. They still have a few items on their checklist, including doing the pass through. Talking with Sarah today, they're evaluating options to find the best, most waterproof option.
