Looks nice, easy to clean!

I don't know anything about fiberglass construction. Are the cabinets and counter tops molded at the same time as the camper walls and floor? Or are they attached later? If later, are they 'glassed into place, glued, or mounted with screws like conventional interior pieces are?

There are several separate molds for interior components. Here is a quote from the XP facebook page:
"Here is a pic of the "raw" shell. As you can see all interior is bonded to the main shell. That gives us a "superstructure". Very light weight. There are no mechanical fasteners to ever rattle loose. So if you're camper ever would flood...no problem. Nothing can rot."

Yes, it is very easy to clean and very durable.
The cabinets are molded as a separate piece and then bonded into the finished shell which gives us a "super structure". There are no mechanical fasteners or staples to ever rattle loose.

Here you can see the mold.

Here is the mold with the foam core and fiberglass lay up.
1st you gel-coat the mold, then we hand lay the fiberglass, then vacuum-bag the foam-core with another layer of fiberglass .

After releasing the part from the mold it is then bonded to the bottom shell.

Finished Product. There is another mold to make the liner which is already in place in this pic.

Cheers
Marc ( with a C ) :)

Compact XPCamper Teaser Shot

Mark and Marc,
Any shots of the baby Tacoma camper yet? We want MOAR!

Here you go:

XP is not releasing much info at this stage, but if you look closely where the top and bottom shells join, it sure looks like it will be a fully hard-sided pop-up doesn't it? I really like the "family resemblance" between the 2 campers.
Cheers
Mark

XPV2 in the up position

Here is a view in the position. I see that Mark already harvested the other form from my FB page :)

The actual build is progressing nicely.

lost, but making time
Changing the design to a hard-side, clam-shell was a great idea ! ! !
Really like this new direction, Marc.
Fantastic !

I too have always admired the Innovan. I have never seen one in person, but I am told they are very "tight" on the inside (ie: not a lot of space). I love the Innovan pull out rear kitchen.
Cheers

Following very closely to this thread for information on the XPV2. It seems like it would now be a possible option for colder environments.

on a journey
Mark had posted a link to our blog about our XPCamper build http://nextmillionmiles.blogspot.com/ but since the blog needed some editing he pulled the link, now that we have completed the page here is the link again.

Thanks for the link, and the info on your blog. Have fun on your journey with your XP!

Oh, and thanks for the mention of the Smash and Grab Film. I have been looking for a product like that, and plan on having it installed the next time I am in CO.
