Xterra heavy duty steering kit?

I have searched and searched threw forums and all I have found to my answer is solutions that unfortunately don't exist anymore. I am finally after many years getting around to putting a lift on my Xterra and have been looking at my options for a heavy duty steering kit. I am pretty set on getting the TC King Kong kit from AC (price is super steep). My other option was the Calmini kit but I have heard nothing but horror stories about them lately. Before I pull the trigger on this kit I just wanted to see if there are any other options that are still around? Thanks for the input and Cheers! :sombrero:

You don't need a steering kit if you are moderate with the lift. I had 32" tires on my Frontier for 80k with just enough lift to fit the tires, 1.5".

I am going to be doing a 3" lift with 33's. (Actually 285/75 but close enough lol) I already have some slop as it is, im at 175,XXX miles so I figured might as well pull the trigger with that too. I think I am going to go with the kit from P P Engineering. Looks pretty legit.

2" lift is a lot easier and will work fine with 33's. I have a 2001 and run 285/75/16 BFG all terrains and 33/10.5/15 BFG mud terrains, no problem. I did a full SLR steering and
control arms, Calmini idler arm brace, etc. If you do 3" you should consider and differential drop kit to keep cv angles good. Custon rear springs and sway away torsion bars.
Prier to all this I ran a PMl and 31/10.5/15 and had no issues but my offroading was in the beginner stages, was always going slow and cautious. Don't abuse the truck now but like the peace of mind of having reinforced any possible weak spots. Xterra owners club has a wealth of info.
