Old one or new one? On 4x4 wire said it was the new one, here people are saying it's the old one and needs to be replaced? If so where is the beat place to get it from? And what torque should it get? Sorry I'm just getting conflicting information online. Thanks

Not really here
Any time the crank bolt is taken out, it should be replaced. Since there is no key and all that.... Just saying.

You get conflicting information cause all the proper mitsu educated people left 4x4wire. Poor 4x4wire. Just sayin.

Where did you order the new bolt and washer? I'm about to do the same so just looking on where the best place is to pick it up.

Dealer sources

Thankyou for sharing the dealer source. My local dealer in Fresno CA soaked 46.00 for the bolt and washer. Will never return .

Ouch! I paid $12 for the bolt and $2 for the spacer. We have a commercial account with a local Mitsu dealer, thankfully.

Now i hope I didnt screw myself. I installed my heads and realized the timing marks are off (this is the 3.0 24v SOHC engine). Im not finding very good information online on how to set them without destroying the valves.

Any good ideas on doing that?
one video I did find (not exaclty the same engine) says to put the crank at TDC then adjust it 4 teeth turning it clockwise (thus the cyliners will be out of the way) then turn the cam shafts just using a wrench on the pully bolt.

How far down do the valve open anyways? Thanks, this is a learn as I go type project lol.
