Yeti "Go-Box" (or similar) as Bear box food storage?

As many of us do, I end up in Bear country and I like to keep a clean camp.

So my nice and smelly food products get separated by a good distance from the solid, impenetrable nylon of of my tent. On longer trips, I have the comedy of a few Cylindrical bear cans grouped together a short walk away, often accompanied by a padlocked, Yeti (35 = damn small!) cooler.

I'd like a better setup. I'm looking for a bear rated box, with or without locks, that is more square-ish and stackable similar to what I believe Yeti is promoting with their new line of "Go-Boxes". Now they refer to them as "wild proof design" and protected against "unwanted wilderness" ******? assuming not a stated "Bear Tested" like their locked coolers. I've considered the Yeti 35 that I already have but, it's tiny inside, really tiny.

So I'm looking for suggestions and conversation regarding already on the market boxes that are bear rated for dry foods. I hope that we can keep it to a conversation about equipment.

No, I don't just carry a .44. Yes, I do think it can be an issue. Yes, I have had my food raided by bears on a couple of occasions while doing my best to keep a clean camp with the above techniques as stated above to no avail. I don't want my vehicle's doors, windows, or trunk/boot lid pulled back for a bag of Cliff bars.... seen that too, too. I know they'll get it if they want it, I hope to find an additional deterrent.

I like the idea of sturdy cases but for that price why not get a Pelican?

This one is significantly larger and is $250. I just use my Action Packers but have been wanting to upgrade to something that is waterproof. But I just keep the stuff I need kept dry in the vehicle. But I don't travel in bear country. Most bears I see I only get a glimpse of their a** end as they scamper away from me.

When first starting to camp I worried about bears ...
In the last 15 years/couple of decades, or so I haven't. (example; "Hey mister there is a BEAR on the other side of those trees?" Me, without looking up; "Yep!, They live here.")
My cooler (with cheese and meats etc is a "Bear resistant" pelican; for the extended ice life not (particularly) for the bear resistance....Never had a bear attack my cooler; 'though a friend camped 40-50 feet away had his rolled around.
The dry foods, cans, crackers, chips bread etc go into a large, sealed, metal, ammo cans (mostly for small critter resistance) all burnable trash goes into the campfire ASAP, cans etc, (when used) get sterilized in the campfire then get pulled and packed out.

No food or wrappers/munchies etc. gets left in the vehicle; or is ever in the tent.
No food is cooked in or near the tent.

If you have bear problems, or hear of them, it is likely that you are in too civilized an area and the bears have, probably, been acclimatized to find food around humans; bring bear proof containers.
When camping in "civilized" areas I often carry; but not for the 4 legged varmints.
IMO; efforts to re-establish grizzlies in the lower 48 are, at best, misguided.

Enjoy!

I think bringing more natural selection evolution of the predator-mediated variety would be good for the human species
