I have a 10X15 tent so the 6 seems snug to me. :)

It has two rooms, but I wish it did not. What is the point of keeping yourself from your gear? Plus I trip over the opening flap near the floor at night. Lame and pointless.

We use the Cabelas Quad Pole tents. Tall enough you can stand up in it to change clothes, wide enough you can fit two cots and an end table for an ultra comfy nights sleep. The were rock solid at Cape Lookout National Seashore last fall, we had high winds every day the week we were there.

And no, that's not us, but I didn't have any good pics of just the tent....

I think the tent Rev has is the cougar flats by columbia. Kind of a modified cabin tent. Not to bad. Thetent it self is 1200mm water proof with a 800mm fly. The odd thing about the cougar is the steel up rights with the fiberglass roof, not to mention it has 4+ mesh roof vent which you could use for star gazing.

I voted for the base camp 4 as that is what I have...good quality and easy to pitch. I would imagine that all of REI's stuff is similar in those regards.

Pic's or it didn't happen. Should include the motivator of all..the GF!

HAHA funny story, I acutally tried to set it up in my apt (one bedroom)...after moving my couch, table, coffee table, etc, it BARLY fit. It was quite amusing seeing a HUGE tent in the middle of my apt. I didnt get any pics though, just wanted to make sure I had all the parts before going out this weekend.

I will get some pics this weekend (and I will try to sneak in the gf..shh dont tell)

Eureka echo bon air

I have voted Eureka Echo Bon Air. It is a tent for 4 (same model available for 6) i have bought last year (in Canada), i"m actuelley very please with it. It is solid in the wind, good waterproofing on all sides, large front vestibule, small back one, all doors fabric/mesh, good ventilation. i like the large vestibule (3 doors) with no floor but still bug proof so we can do some cooking on the ground well protected from rain and moskitoes.
