Hey, I've had a 2000 Endeavor for a few years now, found your build thread. I could use some advice on upgrades and maintenance parts you've purchased. I'm buying the gaskets you recommended. All I've basically done is replace the rear cam seals and fixed an exhaust section. If you're still on this forum, would like to hear what you've discovered in your build.

hello im reading through forums and you seem to be fairly knowledgable on the mercedes trucks. do you know anyone who has a 1120 4x4? im looking at a 1991 ex fire truck and want to see how people find them.
perhaps you have some thoughts or can point me in the direction of someone who has one?

I am planning to replace my clamps with bolts and was wondering what size bolts you used and if you used a backing plate on the underside of bedrail.

I used grade 8 hardware, size will depend on your truck bed caps. Every truck has slightly different widths. I don't remember what size, nothing overly huge either like 1/2" bolts. A size below that, but I measured my side caps before deciding on size. No backing plate, because of plastic clips underneath from plastic caps. I used fender washers top and bottom. 4 bolts per side.

Any chance you could tell me where you got a roof rack that was full width but only 2' or so deep for mounting above front doors in front of FWC overhang? (I have a FWC Grandby on a '15 F350 CCLB).

I get the "fun" you are attempting, but we are very careful to ensure the rules are adhered to so the community stays in check.
