Update on the bed set up?

Oh Yes....But...Life took me another direction back to Seattle for work. I got my bed set up all painted and had some bed lining sprayed on the sides....Looks the part.

Pictures to come...

I have been currently changing my dual battery/Aux wiring system and moving it under the hood. I'm also shoe horning my air compressor there too. With having the new bed setup got me thinking of moving everything out of the bed to create a ton more storage.

Pictures to come on that too....

Here's some teasers...

Love the front receiver

Love the front receiver, was that custom or aftermarket? Looking to do something similar with my 98' I have the ARB bumper waiting at my folks' place when I finish this deployment. Still wrestling with 4wheelparts, over the brackets. Beyond that I have the same basic plan. What gauge cable did you run to the back? I have some old welding leads I and going to use on my diesel, and I am looking for something similar for the Taco.
Looking at some OME Dakars w/AAL for the back. Already put the OME 881 w/Bilstien 5100 up front. Just scratching the tip of the iceberg.
Great looking rig

Thanks!

I built the receiver myself. Very handy. I used the warn kit..It had 2/0 cable.

Your truck sounds like it on the right path. Lots of great information here on this site.

Where in Seattle are you? I'll be looking for your truck. I have an eye for Tacoma's. Especially red Tacoma's with big wheels.

Truck is looking great. Do you still have the trailer?

Still got my trailer....Have been kicking tires on selling it for a moto....Not sure that would be a good move as it is perfect for the family i have....

I will need to put together an ExPo Meet & Greet....A lot of cool rigs in this area....

For sure Nic. Motos are fun, but not very family friendly. 4WDs and support trailers are great and super for families...if you have time to use them.

I want a smaller dirt moto too, but making the time to use one and spending the money have been constant obstructions. Someday.

I hear ya....Time is also a factor...Having little one keeps you busy.

Great job on the Tent writeup BTW.

I like it, I have two questions. What electric fan did you go with and did you remove you ABS controls to install the compressor if so how you do it?

Thanks
Tony

Very nice work.

That red truck looks sharp! :victory:

Thanks Redline! I sure enjoyed re-reading your tire patch/plug article. Now time to buy a kit....i have been procrastinating on this topic for years.

My truck doen't have ABS....The fan is from Oldsven on the board....I think he got it from Summit or ebay....You would have to dig in his build threads or PM him. I do own a spare switch/thermostat if you are in the market.
