Regular price is $1000. I'm not ready to buy yet. Sigh, might as well go long arms for an extra $300...hmm, sounds familiar.

I have the 4" IRO lift on mine...certainly don't need anything bigger for the kind of travel I prefer...and I'm very happy with it. I don't have a very heavy foot on the freeway...so it still handles just fine on the highway!

I got the airbags in the back of the Jeep thanks to JeffWanamog over the weekend. They ride just as predicted. Then I loaded the Jeep up with people to drive to a hiking trailhead. No sag and I'm looking forward to putting some weight on them with a moto trip soon! We routed each air line up the rear swaybar links and behind the gas tank skid to the trailer hitch where we drilled holes to mount the fills. You can't even tell they're there.

They are from Air Lift. Standard bags inside the spring with a custom spring bottom to allow the air line out without pinching. Each air line runs up the rear swaybar link and around the fuel tank to holes drilled in the trailer hitch where they peep out. Unless you knew it had airbags, you'd never see it and it looks factory.

Nice... I don't really have an issue with my stock setup yet, but a little more firmness in the rear wouldnt be bad.

Wait, that sounds funny. lol.

BTW, doesn't it get hot in that trailer? I've always wondered about ventilation. Ever think about just doing all of this in your jeep only?

It actually stays cooler than any tent I've had when you open the windows. The two windows open and the vent on top has a fan if it gets too hot. Generally speaking, I'm up early before it gets hot or I park in the shade - the same principles as where to put a tent apply. I'm 6foot, so sleep in Jeep isn't an option for me. I did that for night 1 of the last Desert Rendezvous...it's just not comfortable and I don't want to build a platform or remove the passenger seat for a longer sleep space.

You don't need to remove the front passenger seat- you only need to remove(or loosen) the bottom rear seat via the pins. Its a 10 minute mod, and it gives you loads more usable space. The hitch pins can be put back into place and you can use the seat. Takes me 30 seconds per side to put back in.

I should have taken measurements, but I believe you can get over 6'3 or 6'4 of space without touching the front seat. Its really that hump that gets so annoying of the rear seat up.

If you pull the pins, move the seats (even if its not out, it lets you push it forward). And move your front seats forward all the way. I use the seat memory function as I am the only driver to push the seat to the position with one touch. The passenger seat has to be done manually.

So...it rained hard last night. I've got a FAT puddle in my passenger floorboard. Research says a) AC condenser (maybe clogged drain from mud/sand since I've been womping), b) clogged body drain holes (anybody know where these are? I think I see some, but may have bashed them in haha). More rain coming tonight, so I gotta act fast!

On the positive, I got the brakes and rotors, engine oil, filter, trans oil and both filters, transfer case and differentials all done. No more binding in a U-turn and I feel better at 130,000 miles on the clock. Next up - a 3'' lift from IRO.

do you have a sunroof? sometimes they don't seat well and the drain tubes get clogged too and then there's a puddle inside. the tubes run down inside each a-pillar, blowing them out with compressed air from the sunroof sometimes opens them up. sorry i don't know where they empty out at exactly.

If memory serves me correctly, it's most likely the AC drain clogged on most that have posted about this on other forums.

I do have one and I did tweak it. Sunroof won't open without a little....positive reinforcement let's say. The roof right behind the glass is bowed a bit.

Passenger front sunroof drain tube was clogged. Used my offroad air compressor and good old blowing to clear it out. Waiting for rain to test now!

Same story. I think the right rear drain tube is clogged. Had another big puddle (not as bad as the first one though).
